P. Sean Garney is Co-Director of Scopelitis Transportation Consulting where he provides advisory and implementation services to clients to help ease the process of adapting to ever-changing rules and regulations. Garney works with motor carriers, trucking technology companies, transportation associations and other transportation-related businesses throughout the U.S. on issues ranging from topics ranging from Hours of Service, Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs), and the FMCSA’s Compliance, Safety and Accountability program, and more. 

Chris Eckhart is a partner in the firm’s DOT Regulatory Compliance practice group. He primarily counsels transportation companies on their safety programs and compliance with the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Regulations and Hazardous Materials Regulations. Mr. Eckhart has also defended clients facing FMCSA compliance reviews, conducted mock DOT audits, and prepared upgrade requests and corrective action plans.

Darlene has been an editor at J. J. Keller and Associates, Inc. since 1996. As a member of the Human Resources Publishing team, she researches and creates content on a number of HR topics such as employee leave, the FMLA, the ADA, the PWFA, and state leave laws. As an editor of a variety of publications and services, she has helped many Human Resource professionals with their issues and challenges.

Bob Amicone joined Ashley Furniture in 2021 as its head of litigation.  Ashley is the world’s largest manufacturer of furniture, with revenues exceeding $7 billion.  Through affiliated entities, Ashley also operates an ecommerce website, brick-and-mortar retail locations, and a trucking fleet with more than 1,000 tractors.   Bob is responsible for all non-employment litigation, as well as advertising/pricing compliance, regulatory affairs, and real estate.  Prior to joining Ashley, Bob was a senior in-house litigator with Walt Disney Parks & Reso

Doug Marcello, a shareholder with the law firm of Saxton & Stump and Chief Legal Officer of Bluewire, is a trucking defense attorney with a CDL. He had represented trucking clients across the country, having been specially admitted for cases in 35 states. Doug received the 2018 Leadership Award of the ATA Safety Council. He has served on the advisory board of the American Trucking Research Institute.

Born and raised on a dairy farm in central Illinois in a family of seven, Steve graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1983 before embarking on a military career. As a U.S. Army Medic, Aeromedical Technician, and Paratrooper, he served with the 247th Medical Detachment and 82nd Airborne Division. Notably, his unit was among the first to deploy within 24 hours of Iraq's invasion of Kuwait in 1990.

Allison is an Evangelist Advisor for Samsara, where she shares her expertise in strategy development, continuous improvement, SaaS implementation, and business transformation. Allison currently serves as the SVP of Continuous Improvement for EVO Transportation, where she led Samsara implementation for 1000 trucks across 20 states, 1300 drivers, and 100 back support employees. Her team installed 1000 ELDs, over 400 cameras, developed custom reporting & integrations, and saw $500K in efficiency savings.

Laura Duryea, Manager of Recruiting, Retention, and Driver Development for Boyle Transportation 
 
Laura Duryea has transitioned into the role of Manager of Recruiting after being involved in various roles within the Transportation Industry for the last 30 years. She started her driving career after graduating from Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in Viola Performance. 
 

Jenny Abernathy was appointed as CRST’s Chief People Officer in 2022. In this capacity, she oversees all aspects of Human Resources, collaborating with the current Human Resources and Driver Recruitment teams to advance CRST’s dedication to offering career development opportunities and enriching experiences for its entire workforce.  

Priscilla has over 27 years experience in the transportation industry, specializing in driver recruiting, retention, marketing, advertising, communications and training.

She is currently the Chief Marketing Officer for Conversion Interactive Agency, the largest recruitment technology and advertising agency in the trucking industry. 

Priscilla is the co-host of The Resource podcast, was named a 2023 Top Woman to Watch in Trucking by Women in Trucking, and was awarded the 2024 Brand Innovator Award by the Transportation Marketing & Sales Association.
