Daniel C. Deacon is a Partner in the Washington, DC office of Conn Maciel Carey, working in both the Labor • Employment and OSHA • Workplace Safety Practice Groups.  Dan's practice focuses on all aspects of occupational safety & health law and labor and employment law.  He represents employers in inspections, investigations and enforcement actions involving OSHA and other state and local safety related agencies. 

Pam has 18 years of experience in the transportation industry, specializing in defending truck drivers and motor carriers in highway accident and cargo litigation.

Dan Cook is Principal and Director of Risk Finance at TrueNorth, leading the firm’s national transportation practice and large-scale project teams. With over 35 years of experience, he has developed industry-leading processes, including the 5C’s of Risk Financing™ and a Risk-Based Due Diligence model for evaluating M&A transactions. He began his career as an underwriter at St. Paul Companies and has since focused on helping clients optimize cost-of-risk through tailored financing strategies.

Gina Jones has been a professional truck driver for over 13 years and has accumulated 1.4 million accident-free miles. A professional driver with Werner Enterprises, Jones currently holds a position on the Operation Freedom Fleet.

Lindsey Trent is the Co-Founder and President of the Next Generation in Trucking Association, a non-profit trade association with the mission to promote trucking as a positive career field and create trucking programs while encouraging training and employment of young people in the trucking industry; and connecting them to training and employment opportunities.

Dr. Mark Manera is the Founder and CEO of Offshift. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, he witnessed firsthand the toll a lifetime of trucking can have on a person’s body. Driven by this experience, Dr. Mark started Offshift with a mission to transform the health of the trucking industry.
