Professional Driver, Werner & ATA Road Team Member
Gina Jones has been a professional truck driver for over 13 years and has accumulated 1.4 million accident-free miles. A professional driver with Werner Enterprises, Jones currently holds a position on the Operation Freedom Fleet.
Since beginning her trucking career at the age of 50, Gina has been awarded Werner Team Driver of the Month, One Million Safe Miles, serves as a Captain on the Werner Road Team and most recently, AmericanTrucking Associations America’s Road Team Captain. In 2021, she was nominated for the Acceleration Award and the Women in Trucking Female Truck Driver of the Year. She won the 2024 TA Travel Centers of America Citizen Driver Award with her husband, who she teams with. In 2023, Gina was selected to help deliver the US Capitol Christmas Tree (The People’s Tree).
Gina is a proud military mom and spouse.
Gina lives in Peoria, Arizona, with her husband, Steve. They have four children and six grandchildren.
