CPO, CRST
Jenny Abernathy was appointed as CRST’s Chief People Officer in 2022. In this capacity, she oversees all aspects of Human Resources, collaborating with the current Human Resources and Driver Recruitment teams to advance CRST’s dedication to offering career development opportunities and enriching experiences for its entire workforce.
Before assuming the role of Chief People Officer, Abernathy served as the Vice President of Enterprise Capacity Development. In this role, she directed recruitment and driver placement strategies for CRST, ensuring that each division and fleet could effectively meet customer demands. Prior to this position, Abernathy held various management and executive roles within CRST Expedited.
Prior to CRST, Jenny served in multiple operational leadership roles at Target Corporation. Jenny is a member of the American Trucking Association, a LEAD ATA graduate, a NextGen Trucking Foundation board member, and is active within her community of Cedar Rapids, IA, where she resides with her husband and two daughters.
