In October 2007, Lieutenant Colonel Darling retired from the United States Marine Corps with just over twenty years of active-duty service. He flew attack helicopters in Desert Shield and Desert Storm during the first Gulf War and in Somalia, Africa, in support of Operation Restore Hope. In June 1998, he was selected to fly as a presidential pilot with Marine Helicopter Squadron One and in October 2000, was handpicked to work for the White House Military Office, Airlift Operations Department. It was in that capacity that Lt. Col.

Cornell Heldenbrand, Vice President of Security for J.B. Hunt Transport Inc. has been with the company in a security role for over 24 years.   Currently responsible for the Corporate Security, Investigations, Asset Protection, Supply Chain Security, Carrier Relations, Criminal Background Investigations, and Remote Security Operation Teams. 

Keith Lewis is responsible for managing CargoNet’s operational efforts, including supervising operations staff and providing investigative support and system training for CargoNet members. 

Scott Cornell, National Practice Leader Transportation and Crime & Theft Specialist, Travelers Inland Marine, has been in the insurance industry for 20 years with Travelers and is currently leading the Cargo/Transportation division. Prior to his current role he conducted investigations for 25 years, specializing in cargo theft and transportation, internal theft, embezzlement, and corporate investigations.

For over 20 years, Nick Erdmann has been driving business development and sales initiatives for Transport Security, Inc., a leading force in physical security solutions for the supply chain. Transport Security manufacturers The ENFORCER range of locks that are secured by ABLOY.  

Nick’s expertise includes cargo security, truck and trailer security, container security, and C-TPAT compliance. Collaborating closely with safety, loss prevention, and security teams, Nick specializes in tailoring security programs that seamlessly integrate with their operations. 

Nancy O’Brien has 30 years of experience in the field of experience design and experience management working with leaders in healthcare, retail, finance, and technology who wish to measurably improve their employee & customer experience to improve well-being & performance of individuals and organizations. In her role at RSP |Dreambox she helps clients to use the methods and tools of Experience Based Co-Design (EBCD) to innovate new models of care.

Fred Andersky (pronounced an-DER-ski) is Director of Government/Industry Affairs at Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC. He has been involved with safety technologies at Bendix for over 15 years and presents to fleets, government, industry, and media about current and future technologies, as well as key legislation & regulations impacting the trucking industry. Fred holds a Class A CDL and has frequently driven demonstrations of Bendix technologies.

Specializes in accident reconstruction, truck brake performance, and EDR data imaging. Research and publications include extracting and analyzing onboard electronic crash data as well as documenting and analyzing transportation crashes. He testifies as an expert on electronic data and reconstruction.

Tim is an industry veteran with decades of experience in commercial motor vehicle product safety and compliance. Tim provides leadership across Solera on the application of federal, state, and provincial laws; supports Solera’s customers and business partners on regulatory matters; works to identify and implement actionable items to ensure compliance, and much more.
