Vice President, Safety Policy, American Trucking Associations
Brenna is the VP of Safety Policy for the American Trucking Associations. Brenna joined ATA in 2023 and, in her role, has spearheaded efforts to encourage policymakers to enhance training, testing, and licensing standards for CDL-holders; enhance and expand drug testing protocols for DOT safety-sensitive workers; and ensure greater motor carrier and driver safety compliance. Prior to joining ATA, Brenna served as the assistant director of state legislative affairs at the Texas Department of Transportation and, prior to that, worked for the Center for Transportation Research at the University of Texas, Austin. She received her Masters of Public Affairs from the University of Texas and a Bachelors in communication and professional writing at the University of California, Davis.
